Privacy policy
Last updated {{last_updated}} · Effective {{effective_date}}
{{legal_entity_name}} (“we”, “our”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what happens to the information you share through amytaylorbianco.com, the personal website of Dr. Amy Taylor-Bianco.
1. What we collect
What you send us. The inquiry form asks for your first and last name, your email address, your organization or show, the kind of request, an optional event date or deadline, and what you have in mind. It does not ask for a phone number. Please do not send sensitive personal information, such as health details, through it.
What is collected automatically. Like most websites, this site and its inquiry form receive basic technical information from your browser: your IP address, browser and device type, the page you were on and the page that sent you there. Section 7 explains which services receive it and why.
2. How we use it
We use what you send only to read and reply to your inquiry, and to keep a record of the conversation. We use the technical information to deliver the site, keep the form working and protect it from spam. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not use your inquiry for advertising.
3. Text messages
This site does not collect phone numbers, and we do not send text messages to people who contact us through it. If you include a phone number in your message, we use it only to reply to you. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
4. Who else handles your information
Inquiries are stored in the customer records system {{legal_entity_name}} uses for its work, which is provided by our platform provider, and they are read by Amy Taylor-Bianco. Our platform provider stores them on our behalf and handles them only on our instructions. The site itself is hosted by our platform provider. Ohio University does not receive or process inquiries sent through this site. We never sell your information, publish it, or share it for anyone’s marketing. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
5. How long we keep it
We keep an inquiry for as long as the conversation is active and for up to {{retention_period}} after it ends, then delete it, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or the law requires us to keep it longer.
6. Security
We use reputable providers and limit access to the people who need it. No method of sending or storing information over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Cookies, scripts and the inquiry form
This site does not use advertising cookies or analytics. Its pages load fonts from Google Fonts and images from our platform provider’s content network, so those services receive your IP address when you visit.
The inquiry form on the Contact page is provided by our platform provider. When the form loads, our platform provider records a visit session (for example, the page you came from and any campaign tags in the link) so that an inquiry can be matched to where it started, and it logs that the form was viewed. The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not a bot, is sending it; Cloudflare may set a short-lived security cookie (__cf_bm) to do this. These cookies and records are needed for the form to work and to block spam.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block them, the inquiry form may not work, and you can reach Amy by email at {{privacy_contact_email}} instead.
8. Your choices
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to {{privacy_contact_email}}. We will reply within {{privacy_response_days}} days. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law, and we will honor them.
9. Other websites
This site links to other websites, including publishers’ pages for Dr. Taylor-Bianco’s research, LinkedIn, Google Scholar, ResearchGate and peakreinvention.com. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.
10. Children
This site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
11. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
12. Contact
Questions about this policy, or about information we hold, go to {{privacy_contact_email}}. You can also use the inquiry form. See also our Terms of use.
